On Monday, Chris took over Delta Company as Company Commander. I'm really proud of him. It was tough for me being all the way across country, instead of there IN PERSON supporting him :-( BUT, I'm so excited for this new adventure he's starting. Thankfully, Danika was there to take some pictures and video for me, so it was the next best thing to actually BEING there (thanks so much Danika).
It'll be a BIG - and busy year for Chris (and us). Lots of training, another deployment to Afghanistan ... but he has worked hard for this moment, and I know he's going to do GREAT!
