Really ... 1 Month?!

So sweet ...

Jake wants to be a part of everything ... I love it :-)

And SAY IT AIN'T SO?!!!!  How in the world can Chase be 1 month old today?!

TIME .... slow down just a little bit :-)

Just for FUN...

Dad says THIS is a given .... that, of course Memphis would be 1 of the top 3 :-)

Delaware for the Day

The weekend after Chase was born, Chris and the boys went with his family to Delaware to visit Nana and Granddad and see that side of the family that was all in town for his Uncle Tim's wedding.  Since Chase had just been born 3 days earlier, we couldn't go, but I was glad that Chris, Jake, and Cole were able to go and enjoy spending a day with family.  It was the first time in YEARS that Chris had seen some of his cousins on that side - and from the pictures, it obviously looked like a FUN day!

Cole hanging out with Aunt Jenn on the beach ...

Jake LOVING the waves...

I can only imagine what Jake was telling Poppy :-)

I'm glad the boys love the beach as much as I do :-)

Here are all the Ashinhurst cousins from oldest to youngest.  Pretty neat!

And here are the cousins with their kids ...

Here are the grandkids and great-grandkids with Nana.  Granddad was still recuperating from surgery at the beginning of May.  So happy he is home now, though!

Climbing trees ....

Cole, too, of course :-)

Where Poppy is, there you will find the boys :-)

*Thank you Aunt Katy for all the GREAT GREAT pictures.  It was fun to "experience" the day even though I wasn't able to be there*

Playing Catch Up

I've had a little more time to blog lately (surprisingly enough), because while I'm cuddling with Chase and holding him up after he eats, it gives me the chance at times to upload some pictures, so I'm trying to play a little "catch up" from the 2 weeks when Chris was in town when I didn't do much blogging at all.
These pictures are Jake and Cole showing Daddy their new bikes they got from Gram and Poppy while Daddy was gone .... and how they've learned to ride them.  :-)  Pretty big deal.

Aunt Katy hanging out with baby Chase :-)

We had some gorgeous (and some hot) weather while Chris was here ... which allowed for a LOT of outside fun.  If I could spent all day every day outside, I would (not the sleeping part), but I LOVE being outdoors.
Here are the boys enjoying some water FUN.
The slip n slide was (and continues to presently be) a HUGE hit!!!  Their faces tell it all!

Yes, this ball is squirting out water all over the place :-)

Chase and Aunt Jenn :-)

Chase and Aunt Becky :-)

The boys love playing baseball whenever possible ... and they especially enjoyed getting to play some with Daddy!

Love this :-)  I can show Jake and Cole how to wear their glove or how to hold the bat, but they hardly ever believe me ... BUT Daddy, well, his words are golden :-)

The boys had a BLAST!

Haha :-)

Does it get any better?!  Oh, the FUN of being a kid, especially in summer!

And here are some slip n slide videos ....

Daddy re-living his childhood :-)

And Aunt Jenn has vowed that this will be here last slip n slide day of her time here on earth, so I'm glad I captured it on video :-)

Crazy kids :-)
