The Sandbox

This past week, we headed to Hilton Head to check out the Children's Museum. It was pretty cool - and Jake had a great time! It was a little "cramped" - not just because it was crowded, but it wasn't quite as wide open as other Children's Museums, but it was FUN nonetheless! Here is the entrance.... it's called The Sandbox! (Cole is looking at the fish tank - that Jake is also fixated on, b/c I tried to get him to get in this picture, but he wasn't having it when he could be looking at Nemo in the fish tank)!!
Playing in the sand....
Building a house....
and painting?!
ringing the doorbell....
PRETENDING to eat lots of scoops of ice-cream (i have to keep reminding him to pretend)!
Awwww.....
Mommy eating one of Jake's cupcakes

Jake steering the pirate ship....
looking for.... ???

Cole on the rock climbing wall....
Jake grocery shopping....
SCISSORS!!!!!!
Painting a picture - his 1st painting, I might add (which is now on the fridge) :-)

Painting with Aunt Becky!!

Of course Jake found the train table and DIDN'T WANT TO LEAVE IT! I mean, come on kid - the one you have at home is WAY COOLER, so there was definitely a melt down that occurred when I forced him to leave this train table ..... at least the child is predictable!
Driving the plane (but Jake says it was a rocket ship)!!

Cole laughing at Jake .....
Cole as the pilot....
Jake's turn.....

NEMO....

And honestly, why would Mommy ask questions while the boy is painting?! He was in full concentration mode!!
