The other day, I was making my list of "things to do" and Jake really wanted my marker and paper I was using, so I decided to let him try out the construction paper and crayons I had bought for him a few weeks ago. He actually did PRETTY well. I taped the paper down to a lap desk - and he did color for a little bit.....then (of course), he figured out how to rip the paper right off (what was I thinking using scotch tape - ha). After a little while, he also decided to see how the crayons taste....you knew that was coming :-)
