A Little Behind....

To say that the past 2 weeks have been busy, would be an understatement. You would think that with Jake being at my in-laws for a few days a couple of weeks ago, that I would have accomplished a lot .... but Cole REALLY keeps me on my toes - especially these days as he is into everything, BUT it was nice spending some quality time with Cole, and Jake had a blast with Gram and Poppy .... eating ice-cream with waffles, going swimming, going to the park, making Mickey Mouse cupcakes, eating at Moes, lots of playing outside, and plenty more....
It was great to have him back, though - HE WAS MISSED! BUT, before he got back, Jenn came into town for Graduation. It was great spending time with her - and Chris was especially excited about eating sushi and then our seafood feast we all prepared to celebrate graduation weekend. Here are some pictures from graduation - Chris's first as a Company Commander. There ended up being 487 new Marines that graduated from Hotel Company!! They should get an extra $500 in their next paycheck for making it through Parris Island - IN THIS HEAT AND HUMIDITY we have had this summer!!!
Chris and his 1stSgt before graduation....
Beautiful morning .... a little humid, but still nice compared to the brutal summer we have endured...

The Band...
Chris is in front ....

Cole only made it halfway through graduation before I had to get up and walk around with him, so there was no way we were going to be able to get him to look at the camera during this picture - he was DONE.
Chris in his office afterwards enjoying the AC....
Cole LOVING seeing Daddy....

Then, on Saturday .... we had a wedding to go to - and Aunt Jenn watched Cole for us while Chris and I went to the wedding. Very rare picture of the 2 of us - all dressed up!

Don't worry .... Disney pictures are coming soon. I'm uploading them all to shutterfly and then will post the link (there are SO many of them), so I'm hoping to get around to finishing that today. Disney World was such fun!! I wish we could leave tomorrow and do it all over again instead of Chris starting a new cycle, BUT we have some great pictures and fantastic memories from the week!!
