Summer is over

Well, summer is officially over in a few hours. Schools have (or are) started back up, no more wearing white, the weather is going to start getting cooler - and then colder, etc. It was a full, fun-packed few months. Our summer started back in April when Chris left for Iraq and Jake and I moved from CA and drove across country. Jake has now been in 15 states over the past 5 months (California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Tennessee, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Delaware) - some of them numerous times!! Here is a recap of some of the summer highlights.... First, was the Grand Canyon on our trip across country, then strawberry picking, a trip to mommy's college, and then going to visit Nana and Papa in Florida.

Cute post -- I cannot believe how fast they grow -- looking at those pictures of you with Jake when you were moving back and at the pictures of him now ... ahh, they don't stay little for long do they!?
