Ever since Cole was born, I have been trying to get a picture of the 2 of them in their "big brother/baby brother" shirts. So, I woke up today thinking....TODAY IS THE DAY :-) Well, I realized that posed pictures just don't work that well ..... candid shots are the way to go! Jake, obviously, was not that happy about this (so much so that he probably should be wearing the "baby" shirt....yeah, I said it)!! Cole is looking at him like, "really dude?!"

After the whole "photo shoot", we left to go to Mrs. Valerie and Elise's house, because Jake was going to play with them while I had a doctor's appointment (and I took Cole with me). We gathered up some toys in Jake's Thomas back pack ..... and this is him carrying it to the door. I was having visions of Kindergarten :-( Good thing that is still a few years away .....
AND TONIGHT.... Jake was a little happier while I was taking pictures (note the candid shot, though). They are going to be such good friends .... Jake, Cole, Percy, Lolo, and Thomas!

6 weeks old today!

It was hard to believe when he turned 1 month old .... and now 6 weeks old - wow! I guess that's what happens, though ... time just keeps moving right along. Cole is getting bigger and bigger with each feeding. In fact, I bought this sleeper for him for Valentine's Day - and got it in newborn size. I'm not sure what I was thinking, b/c it definitely did not fit .... :-(

Jake and I had Cole laughing this morning ..... and I was able to snap a quick shot! He is the cutest ever!

And if you look CLOSELY in this picture....you will notice the big brother behind the crib trying to reach through the rails and touch Cole. Jake tries so hard to figure out how to possibly get into Cole's crib (yes, he has even walked his step stool over to it) ....

Not only was Cole getting tired in general, but probably tired of me pointing the camera in his face :-)

Valentine's Day...

Here is Cole with his Valentine's Day presents from Chris and me. He looks thrilled, huh?! It warms my heart knowing he will remember this moment forever....

OHHHH, and I had to dress him on Monday in his Valentine's Day outfit, b/c I totally forgot on Sunday :-) haha! I was putting away clothes on Sunday night and realized I had forgotten to put him in his "1st Valentine's Day" outfit. So, for picture purposes, he was wearing it yesterday!!
It doesn't matter what day he was wearing it, though ..... still super cute!!!
