On Sunday, the Children's Ministry at River Club sang a song they had been learning during both services, so this was Jake and Coles first time "on stage" :-) I didn't sit in the best place during the first service, but I got a better seat for the second service. Cole was just looking all around, taking it all in ... and Jake, well.... he was all about it!
Here they are walking in during the first service ....
This is during the second service. They stood on the "big stage" during the second service. Cole actually started out up there (w/ pacifier in tow, so I figured he was already tired) ... and he ended up coming down and sitting with the teacher. 2 services was just too much for him :-)
Jake hanging out while the "big kids" sang their song ...
Here is the video from the first service (it's hard to see Jake, but in the middle of the song, you can see Jake wave twice to Papa Dee on the front row) ....
You can see Cole trying to do some of the motions... :-)
Here is video from the second service (I turned it sideways at one point - mainly just to show the number of kids up there) ....
Towards the end of this video, you can DEFINITELY HEAR JAKE. Listen closely :-)
Now, if you watched all 4 videos, YOU will probably have this song in your head the rest of the day - ha :-) There were a lot of kids - and they all did such a great job!!
After church, we headed back down to Richmond because my cousin Heather and her family were in town, so Wes and his family were there .... and we had a fun afternoon at Aunt Beverly and Uncle Craig's house.
The boys' have been fighting allergies BAD this past week ... and I actually took them to Urgent Care on Saturday morning just to make sure nothing had turned upper respiratory. They got a clean bill of health - only allergies. Then, Sunday night during the night, Jake woke up crying about his ears .... I immediately knew he definitely had developed an ear infection, so back to the pediatrician on Monday - but thankfully he now has some antibiotics. The pediatrician basically told me to keep them on Allegra until June (ha) - THAT'S how bad this spring is going to be, she said. Yay. When you think about it, though ... June should be right around the corner - and baby boy will already be here .... Now, THAT is Yay!!!!! :-)
