After 18 months (yes, Cole is 1 1/2 today ... can you believe it), Cole is actually starting to play ... with TOYS! This is a major milestone :-) I mean, he still prefers to climb on everything in sight - but up until about now, he hasn't shown much interest in toys whatsoever, BUT .... he's starting to actually really start to play. It may only be for 5-15 minutes at a time, but it's a start. This is major breaking news in our household! Here is some proof ....
we are in the process of learning all the animal names, so LOTS of animal play these days!
see, he still prefers to be climbing ... but even in this picture he was originally playing with the train table - and just couldn't get the train to go quite where he wanted it to go :-)
