I love these 2 boys. I love that Jake wanted to leave his Thomas pj shirt on with his jeans today - and I love that I'm okay with that. I love that Cole is so alert - and wanting to look at everything that is going on. I love that I can hear Jake in the mornings and after nap in his crib reading his books to Percy and Thomas. I love that Cole is smiling back at me all the time (haven't I mentioned that already a million times)?! I love that every morning while Jake is eating breakfast that he yells "hi BABY" over and over when I bring Cole out of the room. I love, that even in the moments of SHEER FRUSTRATION with my 2 year old, that he has a mind of his own. I love that with Cole, I'm not quite as "stressed" during this infant stage, so I'm able to relax a lot more (of course, you have to factor in that when Jake was Cole's age, Chris had just left for Iraq and I was making a cross-country temporary move). I love that Jake still smells like syrup at lunch from his pancakes at breakfast. I love that Cole doesn't mind Jake getting all up in his face. I love pretty much everything about being a Mom. What I DON'T love right now is that in these bottom 2 pictures, Cole has COMPLETELY outgrown 3 month old clothes :-( The boy is so long - and can only wear 3-6 months now. It was weird packing up clothes from his closet today that don't fit anymore - but at least now I have room to buy more :-) :-) :-)

ohhh, I love an excuse to shop too :) I look being a mommy for so many of the reasons you mentioned, especially the syrup at noon :) Your little fellas are super handsome!!
