Jake has been doing A LOT of standing on his own lately....but he's not taking steps by himself yet. He is just taking his time (which as my Mom reminds me, he has done since the beginning....starting with taking his time during the long labor before gracing us with his presence) :-) I'm thinking he spent so much of his first year in his car seat that the concept of walking is unfathomable :-) BUT - it will be soon, I'm sure...and I have my video camera ready!

How exciting!! Now you get to find out how truly un-babyproofed your house really is, I am still amazed at the things Hailey manages to get into now that she is a bi-ped!!!
